Here we have a 2018 SRT Jeep Grand Cherokee with a AL-KO IQ7 sensabrake trailer braking install.
With a 6.4 litre engine and a 2950kg tow rating, this will have no problem towing the boat!
These provide a fairly straight forward install as can be seen from the photos.
Main control unit of the AL-KO sensabrake can be hidden up under the dash, power picked up from the battery under the seat. Control mouse mounted under the steering wheel.
Switched ignition feed (yellow) can be picked up at the rear of the vehicle at the accessory 12v DC outlet on the RHS.
Brake light sense wire (orange) can be picked up in the trailer plug.
AL-KO sensabrake mouse control mounted under the steering wheel for easy access but out of the way.

The Jeeps Grand Cherokee has its battery hidden under the drivers seat.
Tow bar fitting and 12 pin trailer plug can be found behind the detachable panel.
