The Dodge Ram makes a fantastic tow vehicle and with its built in factor brake controller it can control most trailer braking systems out there ( Not the ALKO Sensabrake IQ7 extreme).
On this install we swapped out an old Hydrastar HBA 1200 for a new Dexter 1600 psi unit. The trailer already had a handy ball valve so the brake pressure could be locked on to act as an park brake. Probably best only use as a short term solution.
