Isuzu Dmax/ Mazda BT50 ( 2021+)

The new BT-50 is out and its based on the awesome Isuzu Dmax.

I did an install of a ALKO Sensabrake IQ7 in car kit in to one of these recently.

All in all a pretty simple install.

Time wise it was 2.5 hours. A REDARC Tow Pro or Tekonsha P2/P3 would be about the same if running extra power feeds for caravan fridge and or ESC or maybe 2 hours or less if just the brake controller.

With this install we used a pair of 50 amp anderson connectors for the ALKO Sensabrake wiring since the owner does a lot of beach launching with his boat. This is  amore robust system that can deal with salt water in the plugs much better than the standard 12 pin trailer plug.
